Mid table mediocrity beckons.
Middle-table success having only been promoted last season.
Fair enough but this is no consolation for me after today's shambles. We never looked like scoring save for Galbraiths sizzler. Thats what..two goals in about 6 games? I don't really buy into all this optimism for next season. Hope I'm totally wrong.

Whilst comfortable safety is what I was hoping for at start of the season it doesn't excuse screwing up another transfer window. Must do better in summer, give Richie what he wants.

When Pigott turned out for the start of the second half I really wanted him to prove me wrong . However I was proven right again . How can he be knackered after only 30 minutes. Is there something wrong with him or is he just sh*t . Can’t jump , hold the ball up or have any influence on the game. He looks totally out of his depth. Agyei did more in 10 minutes than Pigott did in 45 . I’m sorry but he’s had enough chances now and should look to move on down to League Two or National League . Like I said earlier, he needs a fresh start and we need a new number 9.

Oh , and the clincher for me was when Ruel was pointing to the ball telling Pigott to press . I thought I was seeing things but my friend sitting beside me saw the same thing. Pigott isn’t League One standard if he doesn’t even know when to press

Drinan approx 3k a week
Thompson about the same
Turns about the same again

All left in January. There's your budget.

Turns we paid £600 a week, Drinan paid for Cooper & Thompson went on 2 loanees after our target turned us down, so what budget?

Hector was non stop put down by many on this forum ( especially so by ''Tuffers'' ) when he was at the Os.
It was a good move for him to to get away and sign for Peterborough.

Could not see Swindon and Barnet paying that level of wages for those two players so can only think that Os paid off a hefty amount of this seasons remaining contracted wages in order to move Drinan and Thompson on.

In RW's words Cooper was already here so his wage already factored in before Drinan left.

If we've paid a senior pro's wage for two kids with 0 league experience questions need to be asked.

Club missed out on the first choice by being "too slow". Wellens has criticised the recruitment process and that window so it boggles my mind that people try and defend it.

I'm not having a dig at Martin Ling but if we are slow in the transfer market just to save on wages then there needs to be a rethink . It's not worth it if we miss out on our first choice targets .

Wellens said many times the budget was maxed out before Jan, people moaning about lack of budget should put up or shut up as the saying goes, or much cheaper , go support a top 6 premier club.

Always surprises me how different people see the game.

Hector was useless for us with Pratley having to do two players worth of work.

Yesterday I thought he was fine but was nothing special. Easy to play when no pressure on him and nothing to do. Totally overrated in my mind. I have never seen it. Very average player.

Spot on.
There can be no excuses at all when it comes to the Summer transfer window if the owners are serious about keeping RW and getting promoted, it’s almost as though the owners don’t want promotion.

The budget and as a result some of the January transfer signings are why we are not even in the play offs.
All teams get injuries, we are no different in that respect. The squad was too thin and not made up of enough players of League 1 capability to get promoted.
Trying to get even as far as the play offs with the thin squad and mainly poor signings in the January transfer window was always a pipe dream.
Time for RW to have the final say on next seasons budget and who we sign and get rid of.
