Stolid game but defensively we handled Stevenage brilliantly. Play offs a touch too far given our goal difference but if nothing else, satisfying to beat a team that a lot of people were obsessing over earlier in the season. They looked decent in patches but clearly in a rut form wise.

Beckles and Cooper are made for games like this.

Wellens wound up their fans by raising an imaginary championship trophy in the direct of the herberts in the terrace.

Pratts was in his element out there today.

2 week break until 29Mar, where we face in form and free scoring 7th place Lincoln (a), then 4th place Pboro at Brisbane road.

Highlight of the day was watching Evans going into one re the 3 mins

Obviously i love it when we win, especially against a Fatty Evans team, but I would hate us to play that style of play every week.

I realise Richie wanted to match them, and we had no real wingers available, so as a one off, it was OK, but not every week

You play the opposition & we played and beat them at their own game, with the linited resources we had, which makes the win even sweeter
