He can thank Dalglish for making him into that player.
It’s a wonderful quip, but it doesn’t work. If you knew your football you’d know that Speedie played with Dixon at Chelsea long before he was ever managed by Dalglish
.

The joke didn’t work though as it was factually incorrect. If you’re going to try and belittle fellow boarders and Orient fans then do better.

The factually incorrect bit is the joke.

Do I need to explain the joke?

Very decent players. Arguably not world-class.

Yes please explain the joke. Or maybe just admit you made a mistake and move on. I wonder what option you are going to go with 🙄

Again, absolute nonsense. I never said such a thing. You said he was a bad manager. I said it was harsh. After being unable to sensibly discuss the subject you now make up the suggestion I think he’s god. Utter rubbish. Grow up.

The obvious one who comes to mind is pep, a couple of hundred games for barca, 50 caps for Spain, and his managerial record is well known. But the answer is no, there's as much chance of them being sh*t as any other ex pro

Wayne Rooney proves beyond any doubt they don’t, Frank Lampard Jnr will second that.
