Re: Dan Agyei
Very glad to be more or less safe from relegation as it’ll be a big loss to us. He’s been the difference against big opposition of late, no doubt about it. Still, we look to next season and fingers crossed he’s fit for all of it.

Re: Dan Agyei
I wonder if Agyei’s twelve week diagnosis was known to the club prior to the transfer window closing? If it was I’m a little disappointed we decided to settle for two teenagers with zero EFL experience as replacements tbh.

We did go for a more experienced striker but we couldn't get him .redintheface wrote: ↑Sat Feb 03, 2024 6:53 pm I wonder if Agyei’s twelve week diagnosis was known to the club prior to the transfer window closing? Aware of that but IF it was known, maybe we might have tried a little harder?RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 03, 2024 7:00 pmWe did go for a more experienced striker but we couldn't get him .redintheface wrote: ↑Sat Feb 03, 2024 6:53 pm I wonder if Agyei’s twelve week diagnosis was known to the club prior to the transfer window closing? Re: Dan Agyei
See Richie’s interview. We did know, had 2 senior players in mind but f*cked them both up and still let Drinnan go, so was forced into taking 2 kids out of necessity.redintheface wrote: ↑Sat Feb 03, 2024 6:53 pm I wonder if Agyei’s twelve week diagnosis was known to the club prior to the transfer window closing? Re: Dan Agyei
Really strange in my book that, although Agyei was clearly struggling towards the end in the game against Reading, we kept him on. I know that we had already used all our subs but it would have been better to play for a few minutes with ten men rather than risk causing further damage which means we now lose him for the whole season.
