Anyway it was the West side linesman's fault for getting Richie sent off by allowing Bolton to blatantly cheat .
So all those managers who don’t get red cards lack passion? What nonsense. Many are just as passionate but have self control.

You think managers who don’t continually gob off and do stupid things lack passion? Get real.

It’s ok for players to get red cards because it shows they have passion? Not a great idea.

So next time a referee does something I don’t like, I’ll lump him one. But hey that’s ok because I’m a passionate supporter.

The fault with the Red is purely down to RW. Look at what he did, read the laws. It’s a red. That he cannot control himself is down to him.

The 'moaning' has got nothing to do with the state of our play and the general feel good factor around Brisbane road at the moment. It's individual. But you just carry on with your blinkered view on things.

Carry on Richie, you don't get a medal for playing fair in professional sport
My problem with the silly yellow and red cards that we seem to be getting is if they lead to suspensions for players when we can least afford them.

As I say, the players behaviour reflects their leader, and if the leader's getting silly petulant cards, then it's hardly surprising if the players do too. When those stack up into suspensions then Richie'll be the first to complain that we're missing key people.

To be honest, it's about the only thing I think he could improve - and it looks like it shouldn't be that big a deal to do so.

The only times I have a problem with it is a few instance where Wellens has lost it and the team have followed. But more recently that doesn’t seem to translate onto the field. The players must love a manage who is passionate and has their back. If he calms down he loses something as a manager. Who cares if he gets a few red cards a season?

..of course. Goes without saying.

Pep Guardiola just booked for sarcastically clapping the referee, Richie is in good company :D
