We looked solid and I think with the exception of Ageyi it feels like Richie had found his best xi. Back to basics. Beckles next to Happe. Prats and el miz in the middle. Forde was man of the match. He was everywhere and offers us so much more than drinan or Pigott
Indeed, can't see how Pigott gets back in especially if we bring another attacker in during the window. Much more mobile upfront without him playing

Well his best team seems to vary match to match, after all, players form fluctuates, ( Happe for instance ) plus injuries and suspension makes it hard to play the same lineup game after game.

Charlton were diabolical but Wellens got the team right from the start and got the right result. Just keeping picking the right team from the off more often than not and be fine
Longer term get forde upfront, Ayegi right wing and be dangerous

Three very welcome points.
Forde was immense today, very tricky feet, worked hard, good attitude.
Ref was truly awful.
A couple of decent loans next week, and well give ourselves a real good chance to keep in this league

The first few games of the season gave me the impression that the step up from League 2 was going to be massive. Yet the more I watch, the more I realise this is a very poor division. We can be total rubbish for two months having had no more than a decent start to the season, and still find ourselves comfortably above the relegation zone. Aside from the top 6-7, everyone we play also look poor.

Ok. I've found a bit more faith in the team again . First half I thought Charlton were the better team but when Dan Agyei came on in the second half he changed the game in our favour . Well done Orient and a very much needed 3 points .

Good to see Agyei coming good after the injury lay off
Looks like another Ling gem of a signing!

Who is this guy Alfie May that people have talked about in glowing terms on this board. Was he playing for Charlton today? If he was he didn't do much. Happe & Beckles had him in their pockets.
Just back and a bit "heart-attackish" for my liking, but Mrs NES was ecstatic at the performance. Luv 'er.

Yellow card for Hunt there a joke. Ref indicates the free kick goes out way, Hunt tries to play it early, then gets booked for kicking the ball away as the ref changed his mind.
That was a ridiculous passage of the game by the ref.

I assumed he gave the free kick to them for handball/obstruction by hunt?

Well done O’s
Very important win, 3 points and clean sheet today
Team starting to look more solid & settled.
Attacking
Forde looking like the player we hoped he would be.
Agyei starting to show why we are all excited for him to return to full match fitness.
Theo is Theo, can play LWB or Attacking Left wing.
If we can get another 2 attackers (strike partner for Forde and winger) the forward line looks much more dangerous.
Defence
We need a LB, to sure up the defence & to free Theo up in a more attacking role.
James is a solid RB & can also fill in as a CB
Beckles is a rock, but he needs a reliable partner, one from Happe, Cooper or Turns.
Midfield
If/when fit, Pratts needs to partner El Miz, as the 2 x CM, with Gailbraith in more advance attacking CM role.
We need to off load
Thompson
Moncs
Drinan
To bring in
LB
LW
ST

Charlton were so crap, the game was awful in the first half, two teams of clueless players with out tactics. But better 2nd half, needed a win. So very pleased at the end. We are staying up !
