Day 2 and Ash is definitely the flakiest of the original traitors. The new recruit looks like he might crumble as well.

That Zak the Spad guy is a smart cookie but has almost zero people skills.

More antisemitism at the BBC:

Senior BBC worker who called Jews an ‘invader species’ is finally sacked - as workers say it is a ‘grim’ and ‘frightening’ time to be Jewish at the corporation

Good to see him booted off the show last night, and his subsequent non-appearance on the "You're Fired" spin-off, apparently because of more outbursts.

Saying a bloke's tweets made after filming had already taken place is evidence of "more antisemitism at the BBC" is a stretch, even for you. Unless you think they should have pulled the whole series once they became aware?

I was on a BBC programme years ago, if I write something objectionable on social media now is it still their fault?

Perhaps if you tried to get your head around the timelines you'd understand the issue a bit better.

Maybe you can enlighten us?

Secondly, I've only seen his tweets about Zionism. Did he also tweet anti-semitic stuff?

Well the report you shared referred to posts made after October 7th, which it's fair to assume is well after the show was filmed. If that's not the case, perhaps you could share clearer reports?

Clearly the tweets were made after filming of the main series, and it's not reasonable for the whole series to be pulled.

However, filming of this season's shows is not complete. The BBC realised there was a potential problem relating to the tweets and sent Asif Munaf on "specialised training". It did no good and he continued to tweet, resulting in his non-appearance on "You're Fired" last night.

To me, anti-zionism and anti-semitism are much the same thing, so examples of the former are usually examples of the latter. You think anti-zionism and anti-semitism are different, which is fair enough, we'll have to disagree on that point.

It's far too important a distinction. Israel, and it's supporters, has been working very hard to convince anyone who'd listen that anti-zionism and anti-semitism are the same but they aren't. If it's accepted that the 2 are the same then criticism of the Israeli Government will become unacceptable/illegal and that must not happen.

Criticism of a government illegal? How, exactly?

I don't see any reason not to be critical of the Israeli government where that criticism is justified.
