Wonder if he has been brought in more as a third striker instead of primarily being a winger?
I reckon both. As someone said above gives us options to play in a variety of attacking positions.

Get the extra CM in, don't sell anyone else and we're getting somewhere.

One of several that did.

Personally I like 532 plays to our strengths

Brill
Ling/Judd. Happe Coulson Ekpiteta Widdowson
JMD Wright Clay
Angol Wilkerson

Bench
Sargeant, Brophy, Dennis, Gorman, ling/Judd, Harold Turley

Assuming fit.

Always felt not too far away from a decent squad. One step closer now.

Anthony Grant at Shrewsbury was mentioned. If we got him he would be another good signing .

Only 1 game in the EFL ? the rest at National League or below so in truth nobody knows if he’s going to be a baller in League 2 do they

Anyway good luck to him 👍

He’s a very good signing. Stop trying to throw a wet blanket over it.
100 % agree Red

Yep agree - he would really liven the mid field up - add some bite - he scores a few too !

He played mostly as a centre forward in 2017/18, often coming from deep. 13 goals and 8 assists with a good chunk of the latter coming from his shots which keepers could only parry. Tends to drift out to the right but has a hell of a lot of acceleration from a standing start. For those who think him not starting for Portsmouth is a failure it's worth remembering that they finished 3 points off automatic promotion to teh Championship and had four players in double figures for goals. That is one hell of a lot of competition for a bloke stepping up from the National League.

Like us to get moses makasi in Who was on trial. Did well at Stevenage last season on loan and recently was on trial at Huddersfield before coming to us on trial.

Sounds like a direct replacement for Koroma, I expect him to play as part of the front 3 similar to last seasons Bonne, Koroma, JMD. JMD, Dennis and one of Wilko and Angol.

If you ain't seen it there is a Youtube clip here:

I don't think he is better than Koroma myself (not that this matters much), but there are some similarities in the play. He likes to take people on, is comfortable on the ball and could score some great solo goals. Like Josh I think he could be used on the wing but might be wasted further away from goal, he could do some real damage upfront.

Importantly for the team he offers us something we didn't have. We didn't seem to have a real pacy/tricky option among the strikers, now we have that.

You can never guarantee how a signing will work out eg Sanchez at Man Utd but I'm delighted we've got him. Louis looks like he could do really well here. I thought that we had lost the chance to sign him. This is a real boost just before our 1st game particularly as Angol is unwell & likely to miss tomorrow.
Now we need a decent midfielder, would like to get Grant.
It does seem that the club is keeping its promise re recruitment.
I don't believe for a minute that we will tear up this division but we certainly have a decent squad & a particularly strong first choice back 3/4.
We will be competitive.

In our first season back in the EFL, I don't think we need to tear up this division . A mid table finish and consolidation will do me just fine.
