Played really well today. Piggotts best game by far. Cooper is an excellent signing. Tough, strong, no-nonsense. Exactly what you want in a CB.

Moncur obviously must have read my thread on here from the other day because he stepped up and won us the match.

Felt sorry for the Reading players who stayed to get verbally battered by their own fans. It’s hardly their fault that they are in the situation they are in regarding ownership and I really didn’t think they played that badly. Considering a load of players weren’t even listed in the programme I’m assuming a few of them are young kids thrust into the deep end.

Reading are in freefall. The Madjeski money has long dried up and now they’re faced with dwindling crowds in a big stadium and they’re losing money hand over fist. A few years back they were in the Premiership, and right now I can see them dropping down to L2. A lesson to us all.

That may all be true but I don’t think it means that the players who stayed out at the end deserved the absolute mullering they got from their own fans.

I can honestly say we thoroughly deserved to win that game today . We also hit their woodwork twice and had one or two other glit edge chances to score . Everybody had a good game and I agree Pigott played his best game for us today . Well done Orient .

El Miz & the Reading player laying the flowers is very touching. Football can be a cruel and nasty game but their embrace afterwards is genuinely heartwarming.

Can’t give Reading FC and their fans enough credit for their conduct today. It was great to see.

First live game i've been able to get to this season and if that was Piggptts best game by far then f88k me...I don't like to criticise players but I thought he was so average. Should have scored at least once and lost every header he went up for against their centre back. The ball bounces off him like trampoline and he doesn't seem to have the pace to make any sort of threatening run.
I hate writing stuff like this and I feel sorry for the bloke, because he must have something about him to get to this level, but I just don't really understand what sort of striker he is. Is he a target man? surely not because he can't win a header, there to hold up and link? - see no evidence, a fox in the box? What?....When Drinan came on you suddenly saw the change pace and physicality can make, even if he did just about kill himself trying to get a shot off at the end.
i realise it is not anything which hasn't been said already on here but if we had someone with class in the centre forward spot we would have had the game won by half time.

I said it was his best game for us so far. I didn’t say that he’s good.

I’m slightly baffled by the love in that Drinan gets sometimes as well. The bloke runs a lot but is otherwise hopeless.

That is why I prefer Drinan to Pigott . I've been one of Pigott's biggest critics but to be fair he has improved . Saying that he still has a lot to prove.

Not a Drinan fan, but he did make a significant contribution when he came on. We know he’s not going to get you many goals but he does offer some physicality up front.

It’s just that you notice him and he looks like he is putting in a shift. Even if he lacks composure as highlighted by his 1on1 at the end it feels like he gives defenders a fight. But deadly he ain’t.

Really ?????
Ran the channels well and won some headers against the centre back. I noticed that because I don’t think Piggot beat his marker once in the air. Should have scored towards the end though.
