Agree. In fact, when he does eventually shuffle off for whatever reason, you can be sure that there'll be a ton of people who will find some conspiracy angle to the whole thing and then bang on about it endlessly. The fun will never end.

Maybe he'll do an Epstein when he's banged up for all those "alleged" crimes. Or excluded from the Ballot under the constitutional thing about not being a traitor / insurrectionist after you've sworn an oath to defend the constitution.

If he stands, while a lot of people on the Republican side will really question themselves about it - I think they'll hold their noses and vote for him - such is the need to "win" - even if that's a loss.

The best result is probably for him to run and lose. If he doesn't stand, the next guy is likely to be even Trumpier than him.
