Plus it's not a dogs fault that you're scared of it. When walking our dopey as f**k dog a while back an excited child wanted to stroke him but we said no - we'd never take any risks despite knowing our dogs temperament. Mother of child is heard to say "stay away, it'll rip your face off". Faced with that level of stupid it's hardly surprising that some kids grow up fearing dogs.

Relevance?

Any dog that can injure and kill should be destroyed.

Although presumably don't give unconditional love to the people they maim and kill
