Yep, blacket-Taylor beating Hunt every time.
Piggott looks a handful

Bloke behind me said after 10 minutes, " that number nine is sh*t"

Typical Orient 😂

Hunt is getting absolutely hammered out there, both gave the ball away then completely got done on the run. We're playing well but so vulnerable down that flank.

Yep, fairly even across the rest of the pitch, but you can’t afford to let a winger skip past you 8 times in a half.

Richie will need to change things around at HT . We desperately need to sign another striker . Now we've conceded a goal what goal threat do we pose ourselves ?

Hunt and James need replacing.

That the difference in quality between L2 and L1, faster fitter opposition. Horrible time to concede after keeping them out for the majority of it

To be fair to Hunt, we have three CB and one of them should give him better cover.

Hunt needs to be subbed at HT, prob the worse 45mins he has had in an Orient shirt.
Taylor-blacket beating hunt every bloody time & did so for the goal, skipped past Hunt, crossed and Charlton had 2 players ready to tap it in from 2 yards out
But harsh on us, as we did I’m in 1st half

We play with one no.9 and piggot has looked sharp. It's not up top that's the problem, even if Ruel has looked as out of his depth as I feared he would. Not strong or fast enough.

Charlton are extremely direct and have a lot of pace and flair out wide. But I'd still see that as a very promising first half against one of the most fancied teams.

Agreed. We haven’t played badly but are clearly second best. Impressed with Brynn so far who has made some good saves. Pigott obviously has ability but has next to no support alongside him.

Piggott doing well and looks a handful, but he needs a partner, a No.9 to run off him.
Sadly, now we have conceded, I can’t see us scoring.

Yes , I would expect Charlton to be in the promotion race come the end of the season .

Not played bad but the attacking threat is very different calibre compared to last year, May went close, keeper has come out for a few, then the winger burns Hunt and one nil.

Orient won so many games last year 1-0 with a bit of Smyth magic, just can't see that happening this year, teams will score goals

I think it will take a few games for most of the players to adapt to the level, what you got away with last year you won't in this

Overall I think it's pretty positive, Charlton will be one of the better teams and it's been a decent match

Neither can I but we've been saying that all week . Pigott is playing well but we need to sign this next striker ASAP to play alongside him.

No doubting Hunt cocked up for the goal but we had nobody in place to cut out the cross and we allowed 2 of their guys to run in, unchallenged, to tap it in.

Thought we were matching them for most of that half. Overall we've not done bad but it will be interesting to see if we can get back into this game.

C'mon you O's.

PS why have James and Hunt changed sides?

I’m worried if Hunt comes out for 2nd half, especially As the game gets stretched, Hunt will be even more exposed!!

Don’t think we are actually playing with a forward. Very much 3 across midfield. Been in it but that right hand side is a nightmare for us. Need to step it up otherwise we will lose 2 or 3
