At this stage I won’t engage with climate change deniers - I struggle to understand how they can really be that stupid.

Sceptical of anything that keeps referring to the Artic.

Even just skimming that list I see bullshit. The destruction of the ozone layer is an example of where an urgent, pressing crisis was addressed by a massive, unified effort to change our behaviour and technology

It’s such a deep irony that climate change deniers accuse everybody else of being ‘gullible’. I’ve literally never encountered one that doesn’t believe in multiple extremely far-fetched conspiracy theories.

See also referring to anyone who believe in evidence based and/or probable theories as 'sheep'. My friends, unless you literally came up with the chemtrails bollox yourself, by your own definition you're also a sheep, you're just following in a different herd.

There is too much money to be made from fossil fuels. The people who could really make a difference don’t give a flying toss so long as they are making a profit.
There is equally as much money to be made from other forms of energy. Hydro power which is the most reliable in the UK has been discouraged severely because once set up the costs of running it are negligible.

You would need to watch his interviews.
Out of curiosity do you have one where explains how he thinks it might be possible to use quantum fluctuations (zero point energy) as an energy source?

I spent four years studying physics at university (he seems to be a medical doctor) so I’m sure I can handle the jargon.

Even better, maybe RedDwarf could summarise his understanding of the answer to your question, since he’s confidently posting as if he has knowledge we don’t

Hello Sheeple

The interesting question is why are we so susceptible all to brainwashing/group think? The Milgram experiment conducted a number of times in the early sixties is a fascinating and alarming study replicated by him many times. This video is also a really interesting and insightful https://www.bitchute.com/video/OA2CnYZRDzmR/

Your conclusion there is equally trite.
“Think for oneself” just means you’re blind to your own internal bias, prejudices, susceptibility, blind spots.

The best way of approaching a position on a given issue is to learn how to critically analyse a position. To learn that it’s as important to scrutinise the belief you would like to hold as the belief you find abhorrent.

Using the term 'sheeple' to address those whom you disagree with shows one is defiantly not been brain-washed.

It’s all so pathetically predictable. The recent bi election on Ulez means the tories would be happy to let the planet burn for a few extra votes. Thing is, I can see Starmer wavering on anything “green” now as they both race to the bottom.

The problem is at this moment in time people haven’t got the money to pay for all these green policies. Russia invading Ukraine leading to sanctions on Russian gas and oil has ruined everything

Has it bollocks. If Russia never invaded people would still be booting off about "my rights as a drivah" and the current state of the UK economy is more down to the current government (and Truss/Kwarteng's implosion of a tenure) than any knock on consequence of the invasion of Ukraine.
