I'm guessing they don't usually have VAR in the women's game? You just can't get away with stuff like that with cameras on you.

They do, just as inconsistent and crap as usual. Today in our favour as Bronze's shove in the back looked a pen but they didn't even review it

The women’s premier league has VAR?

No it doesn't most of the grounds they play at are to small to support it.

Still baffled as to why our penalty wasn't upheld ( it was very soft but wasn't a clear and obvious error). So guessing once they'd overturned ours they couldn't give one the other way.

VAR use is a shambles so glad we don't have it in our league games.

But James can have nothing to complain about and would think that it's the end of her World Cup (violent conduct generally a 3 match ban) let's just hope it's the Beckham moment in her career.

Agreed totally with the pen - maybe a bit soft but it was definitely a shove into her back and no way a clear and obvious error.

Only at Champions League Level and some International games.

I was at the Champions League S/F between Arsenal and Wolfsburg at the Emirates. It was used then several times and no-one in the crowd had a scooby what was going as every announcement came up on the screen in German.

Ok, so basically they don't. (Which is what I guessed would be the case).

Sorry thought you meant in this WC rather than WSL etc.

Colombia Next who knows which England side will turn up the one who battered China or the one who got through by the seat of their pants against Nigeria.

Think that if Mead and Williamson had been fit for this World Cup then we'd almost certainly be favourites to win seeing how the German and the Americans have played.

Personally hope that if we don't win it then the Japanese do.

From what I heard on the news, Lauren James ended up getting a two match ban. So if England get to the final, she will be eligible to play.

Think she's quite lucky to only get that what she did is considered violent conduct and normally a 3 match ban.

Hoping the game doesn't go to penalties tomorrow. As i'll be in a quandry about getting to the game on time.

Think that whoever scheduled this World Cup didn't do themselves any favours with the scheduling what with the end of the tournament coinciding with start of all the major men's leagues.

Think be plenty of people not watching as their off to a game tomorrow.

The quarters have been very good. Looking forward to the semi's. I'm cheating and supporting both Australia and England, so am guaranteed a finalist :D

And Hemp's one is too!!!
