Fault? I wouldn’t want anyone else taking credit for the achievement.
I would say that Monty and that squaddie gave me a run for my money though, though they didn’t have the unfair advantage of procrastination + ADHD induced hyper fixation

Money don't make my world go 'round
I'm reaching up for the higher ground
To a warm and peaceful place
I can rest my weary face

It’s funny how many men find themselves seriously depressed when found to have been indulging in abusive/exploitative behaviour
LSN:- It is strange when people resign in mysterious circumstances isnt it?
Harold Wilson resigned suddenly , you could say, whilst almost at the top of his game. Rumours swirled & whizzed around. I have a Tory Freemason cousin, who baldly stated " there is gonna be the mother of scandals uncovered, soon. Years later & no scandals. It transpired that this highly intelligent man, sussed that he had early onset dementia ( and unlike Churchill ), decided to quit Politics. A very noble thing to do. He has gained very little credit for this. When he was running for his first stint at PM, against Home, I was doing French at school. The French Assistant made us read the Politics section of Paris Match. The French billed it as " one of the most intelligent Britons V one of the richest!"
