Yes, it really is quite obscene for a government to turn an essential for basic living (water, light, heat, transport, mail ) into a commodity for exploitation/ profiteering.
How on earth were people fooled into something quite illogical:
a) Pay less
b) Get better service
c) Yet a Private company is offering this while it's existence is based on seeking profit for their shareholders

We like fooling ourselves with the illogical (Brexit).
