Has God had anything to say yet about Brother Moncur running around in his bra and pants at Gillingham in a paganistic celebration of a non godly nature?

It's not infectious, it's total crap, the crowd won't sing along to it, the words are not simple. Where on this planet do you think there is any connection between a song written in the deep south of America to a football club set in Britain in northern Europe that has no cultural connection to the deep south of America, it won't catch on, It's total crap RUBBISHmoonwalk19 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 21, 2023 10:28 amCome on it’s infectious. The club are going to play this just before the start on Saturday. The words are simple and the crowd should sing along with the team.Type high wrote: ↑Thu Apr 20, 2023 11:13 amThere is no connection whatsoever, it's total crap will never be sung by the crowdBiggsyMalone wrote: ↑Thu Apr 20, 2023 9:18 am
Its organic. The players were singing it. There’s a connection to a historic moment in Orient history.
I’m fully behind it.

What, like Swing Low Sweet Chariot? A slave song from the Deep South seems to have caught on with a National Rugby Union team based in Britain in Northern Europe, with no cultural connections. Apart from England’s role in the slave trade obviously.

We done well in the slave trade played for both teams and came out winners.
That allows us to nick it from the deep south, Swing low Sweet Chariot easy to remember tune and words nice and simple you can sing along after just one hearing don't even need a record playing, belt it out at top of your voice
