I'm not sure about Bonne. He seems to be struggling for the last 18 months
His wages would be a problem too I suspect

He might have to accept a drop in wages to get his career back on track. Like I said elsewhere there is no guarantee he'll do well for us so it's Richie's judgment call. IMO, he should be able to do well because he's played at a higher level and has experience of lower league football . Edit, I just thought we seem to have a good relationship with QPR because we already have two of their players .That might work in our favour for McCauley.ComeOnYouOs wrote: ↑Tue Jan 03, 2023 12:45 pm I'm not sure about Bonne. Started by playing league 2 football at Colchester so he'll know what to expect from this league . Saying that though he's still a gamble . I'm saying he should do well but we would have to see .DaveDunmore wrote: ↑Tue Jan 03, 2023 12:55 pm National league scored for fun , still a lot to prove in league football
I'm not sure either. Plus for me, he misses too many clear cut chances.ComeOnYouOs wrote: ↑Tue Jan 03, 2023 12:45 pm I'm not sure about Bonne. He seems to be struggling for the last 18 months

if he took all those chances he'd be playing in the Premiership and wouldn't even be on our radar .TRUMP Plumbing wrote: ↑Tue Jan 03, 2023 1:36 pmChief crazy horse wrote: ↑Tue Jan 03, 2023 1:17 pmI'm not sure either. Here we go again.
Woah.Chief crazy horse wrote: ↑Tue Jan 03, 2023 1:43 pm Yes, here we go again with just a smiley face. Waiting for this weren't you.... I don't rate him as a 'striker'. Misses too many clear cut chances for me. Give me Harry Smith, for this team, and with a changed attitude any day.
He did miss a few. Finishing is absolutely not one of his strong points, which is why he's struggling at Championship level.

Not really considering its a loan that is being mooted.ComeOnYouOs wrote: ↑Tue Jan 03, 2023 12:45 pm I'm not sure about Bonne. He seems to be struggling for the last 18 months

Hit double figures for Charlton and Ipswich.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 03, 2023 1:00 pmStarted by playing league 2 football at Colchester so he'll know what to expect from this league . Are we really having to explain that forward play doesn't just consist of finishing? Koroma's development was massively down to an awful lot of Bonne's spadework.TRUMP Plumbing wrote: ↑Tue Jan 03, 2023 2:07 pmHe did miss a few. Red, point taken but let's not forget he was playing at national league level. Plus the fact, players like teams, can go through an almost magical like streak of form from time to time, and then it disappears. My summing up of Bonne is : for his height he holds the ball up well. He's very good with penalties, and he's quite good running with the ball at his feet. But as a instinctive striker', predator, that only has a split second to put away the chance, he's abysmal. In this regard I found him extremely frustrating. If he signs (which I doubt somehow) and he does the business I'll be the first to hold my hands up.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 03, 2023 1:46 pmif he took all those chances he'd be playing in the Premiership and wouldn't even be on our radar .TRUMP Plumbing wrote: ↑Tue Jan 03, 2023 1:36 pmChief crazy horse wrote: ↑Tue Jan 03, 2023 1:17 pm
