I'll see your north/south stand and raise you part of the west.

We'd never hear the away fans.

Atmosphere at most English grounds is rubbish these days, doubly true for clubs in London. I'd rather we were a bit nosier but being a docile bunch probably explains why we seem to have a very small number of aggy knuckleheads trying to cause trouble.

If the club wanted suggestions on how to improve atmosphere, making one of the end stands all standing would probably help.

Seeing as the East is the most ripe for refurbishment, it would make most sense to make that all standing.

I suspect the club are looking for more short term solutions though.

Love the East Stand - not much history in the rest of the ground.

Wouldnt be all terrace . Only the enclosures could be .

Yes. Short term to get the next lot of investors in to take us up to the Championship and a new home.

Cheer us on to a return on investment?

Change the traditional 'OH, ORI ORI' song to 'OH, ROI ROI'.

No to a drum and no to any long term relocation to a new ground/stadium.

I can’t think of many moves, other than perhaps Leicester, Arse and Spurs, as it moved across the road, which has been a good fit and benefitted / improved the match day experience for fans.

Coventry
Oxford
Reading
Boro
Brighton

All are either in the middle of nowhere with no amenities and/or are soulless bowls which look like any other stadium.

Orient belongs in the heart of Leyton (yes, I know, Clapton history) and the match day experience is arguably the best in London due to excellent pubs, good eateries, short walk from transport links and a pleasant High Road and surrounds.

Yes, most of those clubs above have kicked on at various times since the new ground (Brentford a good example) but some have alienated supporter bases and significantly altered the DNA of the club. Even if LBWF proposes a new site within the Borough I would be strongly against a move. It could do significant damage long term and ruin what is so special about O’s.

Long term, subject to finance, the goal has to be staying at BR by building a much bigger East Stand (with possible encroachment on to part of Brisbane Road itself to increase footprint). Who knows if LBWF and residents would entertain this but a 6k stand and another tier on the south would bring us up to c.15k capacity which is competitive and Championship level. Just my tuppence worth, of course.

strange during the 80s & 90s all the noise came from the Old west side which was all seated .
