Re: Exiles Thread v Carlisle ( a)
We are playing bloody terrible. A couple of moments of sublime skill from Theo.
Drinan hasn't touched the ball yet, and Moncur is hardly any better
Carlisle are better than us, and we haven't won this game yet.
We desperately need a decent striker too

A 1-1 draw at home to Wimbledon in c.2016 was the same. They absolutely battered us with 10 men.

Can see the ref evening up the sendings offs. I would get Moncor off and Brown on and sit back as though we had 10 men. It the game stays open like this they will score.
Only joking.

Loving the positivity, we’re 2-1 up v 10 men at HT and we’re not playing well, rather than take off Moncur and try to settle for a 2-1 win, let’s go at at Carlisle from kick off and get the 3rd goal and kill the game off!!
Then we can make a few tactical substitutions

I'd get Hunt off as he's on a yellow. We've got Shad on the bench.

Very good finish from Drinan. Weirdly we were being pinned back before that and he was offside when the ball came forward. assume their defender knocked it on to him.

They are applying a really high press, which is strange to do with 10 min. If we are patient we could score a lot of goals in this half.
