People who ignore you when you make some kind of "I recognise you" by nodding at them in the public road, or even say "hello" to them.
Drivers who refuse to acknowledge you when you pull over to let them pass.
People who pity you when they know you support your local, non-Premier League team.

Being behind the person in a shop queue who

a ) forgot they have to pay for the goods thay have collected & then start searching for whatever payment method they use at the checkout.

b) Start talking small talk as the assistant said hello & they feel they deserve to know there life story .

c) when b looks at you funnily becuase after 5
ahem- coughs & a couple of under breath f*cking get on with it comments & lots of eye rolling . THEY take offence & look at you with contempt
that you happen to shove your goods at the assistant to make quick payment & get away from a situation that could literally lead to abh, after 15 minutes of life wasted.

People wanting to keep James Alabi on the strength of one pre-season match against a team four divisions below us.

For real. I have listened to his interviews. Have you? He was never going to be a rocket scientist was he. 90% of football managers are the same. 99% of footballers are thick. The thread was what annoys me and the football thing, especially in the lower divisions, of “having a gaffer that gets on with the ladz” is bizarre and annoys me. What other business does that. I have never had a single boss that wanted to be my friend!
