So, I see Johnson will be outlining the Dec 2 post-lockdown measures and tiers today, with details to follow on Thursday once they’ve made them up, and find out how much of a Grinch he’s prepared to be about Xmas socialising. No doubt the media chumocracy like Peston and Laura K will get it all leaked to them first so they can pass on snippets of gossip as “breaking news”.

He's going to ruin Christmas, isn't he? He's going to allow families to meet up.

Oxford Vaccine up to 90% effective, can be stored in a normal fridge and a third of the price of the other two as won't be sold for profit (and we've got millions ordered)

Things are looking up

They already are. I ventured out the house yesterday, so many groups gathering that clearly were not in the same household.

How else will they know what to make up for Thursday without floating potential ideas out through Laura and Peston and seeing what the reaction of the Great British Public is?

Because that's where we are now - it's not doing the right thing that's important - it's doing the popular thing.

70% in one dose, 90% if given as two doses spaced apart.

There will always be unnecessary fatalities in life. Like it or not we have to learn to live with this like we do with other causes of deaths.

Sorry but we dont have to live with it

We have medical science fighting cancer , heart disease , meningitis etc etc.
If its about accepting death why do we have doctors at all ?

Living with it does not mean we stop fighting it. We have lived with countless viruses and diseases for years.
