Have we considered the possibility that Putin has lost his f*cking mind? He knows this isn’t going to end well for anyone, yet he’s pushing onwards. f*cking lunacy.
It’s my main concern. His words have been strong and without care. Probably not true, but right now it doesn’t feel like it would take a lot for this to escalate further.
I agree. If Putin's ambition is to re-establish the old Soviet empire then he could attack Baltic NATO members. At that point we're all in it. As somebody has already said we're living in scary times.

Once again he calls it right. Inconceivable.
But you're still not a Corbyn supporter and Labour were never your team, right?
I know, I know but he lives rent free in your big empty heids.

Russians now in control of Chernobyl. Not great news.
Hmm...this couldn't be so they could attack the stored uranium and cause serious devestation but do so under the guise of self sefence, collateral damage or spread disinformation that Ukranians did it? Reckon there's a chance of this.

It's probably just so that they now control all electricity into Kyiv. Aside from Chernobyl, Ukraine was entirely dependant upon Russian gas. This is check-mate.

Embarrassing we haven't placed sanctions on Sberbank yet
Russia's largest bank and owned by the state. Sanctioning VTB is just window dressing

Yep. Our response to this crisis was brilliant up until the point when the actual invasion commenced. The sanctions announced so far are way fewer that what is needed. When it mattered, we pulled our punches.
Germany and Italy have also disappointed.

So no cricising Nato no more? Are you trying to strangle free speech?
Non NATO member state has invaded a non NATO member state. It's a weird 'but what about the yanks' moment in the midst of a statement supposedly condemning an unprovoked act of war.
You do know what the Yanks were up to in Ukraine don't you?
Where are they now with their army?
You do know what the Russians has been up to in Ukraine for decades don't you?

Yes. My side is the side of the International working class. Not Imperialist powers vying for assets and commodities.
It's a Lenins fault. He was too liberal in allowing self determination of the nations that made up the USSR

The workers as always will be the ones to pull down a dictator. Just need the Chechyans and Georgians to step it up and RasPutin has a job on his hands.

Yeah he used old gas so increased the dose. Hence the fatalities.

I’m not a political person especially on here but it puts all the petty arguments about football in perspective, I can only see this going one way and it ain’t good,it seems like history is repeating itself yet again, will we never learn? This guy won’t think twice about dropping the bomb if it comes to it. He’s a bully plan and simple and the only way to stop bullies is to stand up to them unfortunately but I hope and pray it doesn’t come to that

Champions League final moved to Paris, but Russian teams still allowed to compete in European competitions in neutral countries. Ridiculous.

Absolutely disgusting. Has any justification been given for allowing Russian teams to compete?
