It's a shame Jimmy Bond died smashing up Spectre and that dodgy masked villain's toxic bot island, as I'm sure he could have sorted all this Great Powers manoeuvring and brought back Blighty's Empire (and no doubt popped over from his Jamaican bolthole and kept those pesky Barbadians from ditching Queen Liz too).

On the plus side one less country to look after will make the ageing Queens work load a bit lighter.

It appears that one of the idiots that tried to block the lifeboat from launching is themselves a fisherman. I understand the man frustrations, its all a big game. Intentionally put yourself in danger then call the RNLI taxi service. I bet they are fed up with it too. Presumably they are just far enough into our waters that they cant be dropped off in France?

I think you will find the Tories have always loved immigration as it’s cheap Labour for their big business mates. It’s Tory voters that don’t but as the Conservative party appears to have a death wish currently, they have abandoned all pretence of caring about what their supporters want. I never thought I would say this but I hope Labour win the next election.
