Re: Israel
So you simply cannot, or will not, explain your misuse of the word ‘genocide’. It seems that you are singularly incapable of doing so or in fact understanding anything related to the history of the region.BoniO wrote: Sun Jun 14, 2026 11:06 am Oh sh*t - I've gone and woken up the biggest genocide supporter on here. Fair enough. Remain complicit in your support for anti semitism, rampant misogyny and compete hatred toward homosexuals or anyone showing anything contrary to the Islamic faith.
Do you have a daughter? If so, where would you rather she live - in Israel or Gaza?

Same as the Kent’s who continue to defend Israel. Cut from the same soiled and corrupted cloth.
Israel has an unbroken 300 year old historical and archeological connection to the holy land. ‘Palestinians’ none. What part of that is hard to understand?
Regardless, out of interest, do you think the U.K. still has a claim over the USA considering 300 years ago we owned it?

Re: Israel
Any scholar worth his qualifications knows that Jewish people are the original inhabitants of the land referred to now as Israel and that 1947 was simply about re-establishing that fact from the Palestinian invaders. All archeological evidence, as well as biblical references, show that the Jewish people have been in this land for 3000 years. It is not about having a ‘claim’ as you quaintly put it, but a right to assert that Israel has always been Jewish and always will be. So your UK / USA bizarre reference can also illustrate that because the UK occupied the USA for a period then of course it has no claim over it. The same goes for Palestinians in Israel, even though they didn’t even ‘own’ it.Rich Tea Wellin wrote: Sun Jun 14, 2026 11:23 amAre you sure about that? Re: Israel
Even if all your claims are right, it has no real world value today. Imagine applying a 3000 (or 300) year old “right” to any sensible political or logical argument today. Anything to not think about what the Israeli government is doing eh? I’ll ignore the fact you’re also referencing something that almost certainly is based on religious mumbo jumbo, as I know you like to bae things strictly on the facts.

Re: Israel
Anything it seems to justify what Israel is doing. The use of the word invaders is a telling one, therefore in your mind it justifies everything that was done in the Nakba to Palestinians & everything that's been done since.FrankOFile wrote: Mon Jun 15, 2026 5:22 amAny scholar worth his qualifications knows that Jewish people are the original inhabitants of the land referred to now as Israel and that 1947 was simply about re-establishing that fact from the Palestinian invaders. Your morality is twisted as your view is clearly that the killing of Jews is appalling but not Palestinians.
There's a simple maxim- if you do not condemn the killing of both Jewish & Palestinian people, especially children, then you have no humanity. And you have no humanity.
You should be ashamed of yourself.
I find the views of those who justify Israel's genocidal actions to be revolting.

Re: Israel
Seems to me, if you're not a member of Labour Friends of Israel, you can't get into any position of power.
Ten years ago, Burnham said the first country he would visit if elected leader would be Israel
So I guess the answer to your question is. Yes

Re: Israel
Josh Simons - the sitting Makerfield MP who stood down to allow Burnham to stand has longstanding relationships with Friends of Israel groups, and has stated that he could apply for Israeli citizenship.
Burnham is a bit wobbly on the topic of Israel/Palestine, but being given a chance to become PM by an Israel supporter might make one think that he might have become more aligned with one side. We shall see.

Meanwhile the Indy reports that a UN inquiry has concluded that Israeli has deliberately targeted Palestinian children.
Yet more evidence, if it were needed, of Israel's genocide.
Sadly the genocide apologists & deniers will no doubt continue to distort & lie.

Re: Israel
Here's a list of the organisations etc that the Israeli Government tell us are lying.
It would therefore appear that they are claiming that there is a world-wide conspiracy against them.
I wonder why they have not allowed journalists to go into Gaza.
