Were they not predicting a lower but longer peak only recently? Now it's up to 4k deaths a day if we don't do anything.

So, let's put everything into perspective - and blame the opposition. The current levels of incompetence have nothing to do with party politics and everything to do with a small cabal making decisions that don't take into account the evidence. The 50k+ who have died and higher numbers incapacitated, whatever their political leaning, didn't deserve this.

With lockdown back on again this Thursday, does anybody know how this effects football. ? Typing this out it feels like a stupid question but is the season back on hold again like it was last season ?

Elite football remains ongoing - non league and grassroots to be decided but assumed cancelled from Thursday
