Re: Tory Watch
Yes. Strange how overworked they claim to be yet still find time to spend two hours after/ during work to speak to the press. The BMA represent the interest of medical workers. They will never side with the government

It really is a difficult to decide which side to be on - medical workers or the government - literally a toss up.

I want someone to side with the people and in my humble opinion I trust medical professionals more than govt to do that.

An "unacceptable" level of Covid cases means ministers should trigger their Plan B for the pandemic in England, doctors say.
The British Medical Association (BMA) accused the government
of being "wilfully negligent" for not reimposing rules such as
mandatory face masks.

Re: Tory Watch
So why have all these Tory politicians voted to allow water companies to discharge raw sewage in our waters exactly?

Question: Why is this sewage discharge issue getting so much attention and traction? Not that I have a problem with the fact that people care about this and are calling MPs out on it, I'm just curious as to why this issue and not so many others?

Re: Tory Watch
Coordinated campaign on twitter on a very simple issue.
It puts the Tories in a very difficult position because they voted for dumping raw sewage in the rivers and sea. Why?
It also lays bare the exploitative capitalism of the privatised water companies who don't invest in infrastructure but can pay £59 Billion in dividends to shareholders whilst dumping sh*t and piss in rivers and the sea.

The water companies have been dumping untreated sh*t in the water for years before Brexit and have been fined for it umpteen times. Brexit has just made it worse.

Only 2% of Chinese in the top 5% of total energy users. In the uk it’s 20%.
