Not heard that and really hope it’s not true. Wish him well. Thoughts with his family.

Confirmed. MP for Southend West and formerly Basildon.
He is (sadly now, was) MP for the next constituency along from me, some years ago he held a couple of tea parties in successive years to try and break a world record of the number of centenarians in one place. My Great Aunt was one of those, and when she died a couple of years later he took the time to come along to her stone setting. I've always remembered that, and how respectful he was at the cemetery. Depends on the vision.Dunners wrote: ↑Fri Oct 15, 2021 3:05 pmI'm not disagreeing with you, but I think there may be more to it than that. Even if Labour was all united behind a single vision right now, I genuinely don't think it would be making much difference.Max B Gold wrote: ↑Fri Oct 15, 2021 2:50 pmIt's almost like a Labour party obsessively conducting a factional witchhunt against its own members in some weird desire to relaunch Blairism 2.0 isn't appealing to the electorate. Nah. People are just not ready for that yet. An "unacceptable" level of Covid cases means ministers should trigger their Plan B for the pandemic in England, doctors say.
The British Medical Association (BMA) accused the government
of being "wilfully negligent" for not reimposing rules such as
mandatory face masks.
The Government not following the Science again .
The BMA President is Professor of neonatal medicine at Imperial College London. Think she might know a little about science.George wrote: ↑Thu Oct 21, 2021 6:51 pmThese are unions not scientists.
