I think Thor needs to brush up on his reading skills. The Mail's article suggest that the geezer's research is a load of twaddle. Go to Specsavers and re-read the article, Thor.

Full lockdown is approaching.
Absolutely. This season's fixtures probably won't be completed.

What changes now we’re in this ‘crippling’ tier 2?
As far as I can see, it just means you can’t go round someone’s house?

Cant meet someone from outside your household indoors is the main one, yes.

Looks like they've got the timing just right, going by that. Possibly a week too late.

The major point is that in tier 2 , you can only go to a pub or restaurant with someone in your house. In my case , that is my wife. I feel like I have been handed down a punishment and I have not had the benefit of a trial

Infection rates are increasing most quickly among the over-85s.
I have just copied that from BBC news/statistics.
As upsetting as that figure may be it does not warrant locking down 68 million people.
Why should people who have not had a life yet , sacrifice there life for those that have.
I know that is a brutal statement , but it needs to be put out there for discussion

So me and 3 mates go to the pub tomorrow , do we all have to sit on seperate tables ??
Also if someone visits a friend for coffee in thier house and gets caught , who gets fined both parties ??

Again? Really? 40% of all hospital admissions since August have been among people aged below 60, so the "shield the vulnerable, let me get back to normal as the NHS will cope" argument has been thoroughly debunked.

Pedant. So it’s the story of what figures do we base decisions on. Probably not the figures that we have access to

BigRon. You can only drink in a pub or restaurant with a member of your household unless outside.
I don’t think there will be many following the rules governing house visits. But it’s all about common sense. I will still visit my daughter and grandchildren. I won’t stop friends entering my house. But I will be sensible , as I have been throughout

Can you sit in beer gardens with non household members if you're in a Tier 2 area?
