That’s because I don’t make my mind up until the election. Loved Blair and Thatcher. Unlike last time when I hated Corbyn and Boris. Don’t actually mind Starmer.

For the record I’ve voted Labour more than Conservative. Not my fault the Labour Party in recent times has been crap. The Tories a tad less so.

If we are talking about Blair and tax savings the people he bought the property from were the perpetrators of the original Stamp Duty avoidance.

When he made the property acquisition he would not have been given much choice other than to buy the shares in the offshore company who owned the property.

Not sure what happened next. However, what I can say of Blair was that he is conscious of his reputation and not getting embroiled in tax avoidance.

He's less conscious about 1 million Iraqi deaths and illegal wars though. That much I know.

Yes , anything to do with offshore companies smells dodgy though always. They are set up to take advantage of tax loopholes. Best avoided by anyone in high places I would have thought.
