All a question of scale isn't it. Not defending Blair but the saving he made is small fry compared to the institutionalised thieving and corruption under the Tories. Tens of billions of pounds have gone into the pockets of Tories and their supporters. No comparison to Blair really is there?
Once again , I agree. I am happy to accept criticism of the Tories and Boris , and hopefully any wrongdoing will be investigated and those responsible, punished. So please tell me , why is it right to criticise the Amazons and Apples of the world for avoiding tax , but not Blair.
Point out where I've said "don't criticise Blair" - helpful hint - I haven't. But comparing his use of the law to reduce his tax burden with the actions of this government is farcical. The schemes/cons/corruption of this government are unparalleled.

I too hope this will be investigated and the BBC, smelling Tory sleaze, will do so with gusto.
The way they have portrayed this certainly could be accused of bias, leading people to believe his crime is proven, when it is not by a long way. Guilt by association is a dangerous thing.
When I first read the BBC stuff I assumed his guilt. Then I read it more carefully. Being a consultant to a dodgy firm does not make that consultant dodgy.
