Labour councillor suspended after telling Rishi Sunak and his wife to "go back to India"
https://www.onlondon.co.uk/wandsworth-l ... shi-sunak/
He deleted his twitter account after it being drawn to his attention that the word "back" might be construed by some to have racist connotations and he's not a racist.

Look on the bright side at least it wasn't anti-semitic. Things are improving in Keith's New New Labour Party

Women in politics: Labour figure's lewd comments to MP - claim
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-61245456
An MP has spoken out about lewd comments allegedly made to her by a member of the shadow cabinet.
She said she was described as a "secret weapon" because "women want to be her friend" and men want to sleep with her.

The end one looks like one of those women in the films who polishes up well with a new hairdo and contacts instead of glasses but I admit it's a stretch.

On the right? Yes, I agree.
The one on the left definitely thinks all women want to be her friend and all men want to do sex with her, even though it's clearly not the case. My money is on her.

Yes I listened to it, did you?
If she's upset about the whole thing she has a very strange way of showing it.

You listened to it all or the clip taken out of context posted by the Daily Fail?

Yes I listened to the podcast on iTunes. It's a light-hearted interview in front of an audience, she's having a laugh and joke about it, and the Basic Instinct "meme" has obviously been around for a while, long before this past week. Where it originated from I have no idea, perhaps you can enlighten us?
Yet when it's repeated by a couple of Tory MPs in an interview in the "Daily Fail" this past weekend she's concerned about how she will explain it to her teenage sons and feels she needs to wear trousers in TV interviews so as not to be accused of anything, as if it's the first time it's ever been mentioned, and it's the lead story on the BBC's 10 o'clock news.

But that is not the Daily Fail story is it. They are reporting that the Tory MP's are saying that she is wearing short skirts and crossing and un-unrossing her legs to put Johnson off. They also state that she needs to do it as she hasn't had Johnson's debating skills training
