Trump's speech just now was... erm... sinister.

The Democrats would also be wise to take heed, even if Biden still wins:

Really was. And more disinformation from him. He wants vote counting to stop and will take it to the supreme court.

Had a punt on Trump @ 7/4 last night , did the same on Biden this morning @ 7/4 , will show a small profit whoever wins provided it ain't null and void for some reason 👍

So, Senate stays GOP which, along with the SCOTUS conservative majority, means a DNC presidency would be hamstrung any.

Given it’s a close call, it’s completely expected that Trump would a) claim the win and b) talk about fraud and suppressing uncounted votes (in undeclared States he’s likely to lose). The latter sort of shenanigans has happened before over the pond, but this lot are so blatant with it.

Biden smashing Trump in the postal votes in remaining states according to the polls.

But yeah, polls. And yeah, legal action.

It's very simple now. Biden needs the 20 votes in Pennsylvania to win, no other combination works. He will also need 2 of the other 3 states in play. So Trump is a massive favourite now. If Biden does pull it off, legal challenges and civil unrest will follow. As the Pennsylvania counting takes a few more days, the Trump team will really up the fraud rhetoric now.

Why didn't people just vote in person?

Aren't there at least 5 states still in play? Penn, Georgia, Arizona, Wisconsin and Michigan yet to call and all look close based on postal votes. Pretty sure there are a couple of others too.

I just think if you're a democrat and can see Donald may try to discount your postal vote then the sensible thing to do would be to vote in person.

If Biden gets Wisconsin and Nevada, which looks likely, then he needs to win one of the remaining states. You'd hope he gets Michigan, Pennsylvania looks a proper uphill battle.

Whatever way it pans out, nearly 50% voters went for an anti democratic demagogue who's botching of an ongoing pandemic has cost hundreds of thousands of lives. The country is f*cked, in a healthy country the incumbent doesn't make a speech like Trump did today.
