We are reading hearsay, let’s see what happens next before jumping to conclusions about physical violence either way. Cos what I’ve read suggests it’s Carrie who was violent.

Clearly that sofa has stains, ahem, on it. Perhaps he can also get Chris Davies to help him claim the steam clean as a legitimate expense?

Boris shouted "Get off my PC", which suggests he doesn't clear his browser history as often as he should.

Quite amusing that Boris doesn't understand leave means leave.

Maybe he didn't realise the government have put back the introduction of checks upon visiting porn sites?

Venomous takedown of Johnson from his old Torygraph boss: https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfr ... ty-britain

Not that it’ll make a blind bit of difference to the Tory members frothing at the mouth over Brexit. Funny that the Telegraph didn’t run it...

Is the Tory party really worth saving? It is going to cost the country billions to get even a semblence of unity, even if that is humanly possible. The political times are changing and there appears to be no place for a party that seeks to represent everything from the rabid-right (see swivel-eyed loons) to the 'one-nation' paternalists. The centre ground is now open as Labour has drifted to the left after their selection of leader. The Lib-Dems will attract MPs from both sides but it remains to be seen how far this will go.

I suspect that all the billions will be wasted anyway as brexit rips the Tories apart, especially if Boris is made leader, he never seems capable of getting on with anyone for very long.

Time for the Tory Party to do a Boyzone and disband.

I laughed today at Johnson’s lie that his hobby was painting wine boxes as buses with happy passengers. The man is a compulsive narcissistic fibber, but nothing seems to stop the Tory MPs and members who are hankering after a hard brexit thinking having him as our Prime Minister is a truly terrible idea. And he fancies himself as Pericles, FFS!

Jimmy Savile wasn’t either. In your eyes, he is a totally innocent man then.

Why are the Conservatives happy to be called 'Tories' and 'The Tory Party', when the word means "outlaw, robber or brigand", from the Irish Gaelic tóraidhe or tóraí? Many will think the name suits .

Just about sums them up.

That’s exactly where it comes from, tuffers. All goes back to the disputed succession of James II, whom the Tories supported against the Whigs (derived from “cattle drivers”). They were formally known as The Tory Party before changing their name to The Conservative and Unionist Party. Think it’s all detailed on wiki for anyone interested.

"Why what’s she done?"

Spent a whole TV proogramme alternately lauding the wonders of Boris and Brexit and denying anything else that other contributers put forward, including
outright lies. All in an ingratiating, mummy knows best, tone.

You have to doff your hat to the ploy. Who’d have ever thought of that? Crosby is a genius if it was his idea.

There is a less complicated theory.

I suspect that as the interview went on and Honest Al continued to blunder his way through it he got a bit narked by his obvious ineptitude and made the facetious remark about buses because he thought that the next question was going to be about the great big lie plastered all over the bus.

Lies are something one makes up as is constructing model buses.

Everything about this discredited, dangerous and dunderheaded party is built on a foundation of lies.
