The level of damages awarded in terms of defamation are relatively small when considered against Riley's likely earnings and probably reflective of the "damage" to Riley's reputation. Can't even see where AS has any relevance to this legal action.
Interesting point though in the summation on Riley's post being provocative and it also seems that had Murray included Riley's tweet, the result could have been different. Regardless, the whole case is pretty ridiculous and doesn't achieve anything for anyone.

Tory leaders have been giving gongs to donors for years & years. not a new thing. These donors know they are buying an honour, its a cosy business arrangement

How the hell has Starmer managed to catch Covid twice in three months?
Apparently this is now his sixth self-isolation period. It means that Labour are sending in Rayner to bat in today's PMQs.
