It will be interesting to see how Lammy adjusts to a front bench role. Surprised he got as big a gig as shadow foreign sec though.

Nandy is smart and a sharp communicator. Taking on Gove is her chance to shine and develop her leadership credentials.

I heard today Lbc sir kier had cancelled this Angela from the reshuffle and all kinds of plots suggested. I think she has to much anger and embarrassing for him to achieve much . I like to listen to David Lammy on Lbc and he gives the people who phone the a challenging time and some close the phone as so much pressure for them.

Whatever you think of him - and I’m amazed you don’t like him - it’s a massive mistake promoting someone with such a high profile second job in the current climate. The tories will be all over him for it.

He had to go and ruin it by promoting Lammy and simultaneously demoting his best asset

I think that to change so many like Jeremy Corbyn team is a very bad thing as he had so many to support his cause and he was a victim of the agist people who condemned the experience to place above them the youthfulness of people like Lisa Nandy and west Streeting’s but time will tell. Davis Lammy is experience lawyer like Kier and think like a judge and can slice in pieces buffoons like Boris who just is comedy on the stages of the world. I am disappointed he keeps that Milliband inside the Labour Party because he already proved to fail in the election before and they throw out Jeremy who made more collective votes and can win but the media again took the side of the Boris because he is working for the papers also. I hope and pray the do not dismiss all of the Corbyn team like that guy John macdonnald who is very knowledgeable about many things to challenge the business aspect of matters. Also I am not sure about the lady Cooper because she upset so many before and I think her husband is now media personality. The country is going through very difficult times and the Kier is doing a good job but needs to bring everyone together to challenge successfully or will go into the wilderness for many years to challenge . I say even because Tony Blair was taken to ward by the lies of Bush and Trump he was good leader and for sure poplar to bring harmony to the nation and maybe Kier should take him to advise in the future because he has experience on the world front and many leaders know him in the world like Putin.

This really is a god-awful Alias. One of the usual suspects I guess.

Corbyn has been reinstated the LP membership a long while ago. He is still an MP. So he is a LP member, lawfully elected by his constituency to be their Labour representative in parliament. Quite incredible how Starmer has lost all sense of 'natural justice' in what almost seems like a persecution of Corbyn. Starmer seems to be doing what Margaret Hodge has instructed him to do. She very publicly threatened to resign LP membership if Corbyn is reinstated as Labour MP. What sort of 'democrat' does that?

Honest, honourable, devoted to the rule of law .... that is NOT how Starmer's handling of the situation can be described.

In matters such as this I say follow the money.
Keith's Labour Party has lost 100's of thousands of members and their subs as well as funding from some big union donors. The party is on the brink.

New "investors" are required hence the political turn toward business. The shadow cabinet reshuffle was part of this and is the key reason Milliband was ditched. Some say he was purged for being Jewish I can't see it myself but Keith has expelled more Jews from the Labour Party than any leader in history.

Look out for donations to Labour from business people sympathetic to Neo New Labour.

I like David Lammy, though not sure he's up to one of the great states of office.

His appearance on Celebrity Mastermind a few years ago was interesting...

Corbyn was toxic he had 2 elections to stink up the place and wanted a 3rd I don't blame him trying to keep him as far away from the party leadership as posible.

It would be like bringing Carl Fletcher back to orient.

Sort of, until you realise the Conservatives have never failed to achieve over 30% at a GE in their 187 year history.

We should support whatever the enemy opposes and oppose whatever the enemy supports
Mao Zedong 1893-1976

It's good to see the wonderful socialist Keir Starmer putting this into practice

Down to third spot and losing 12 points.

Great to see Sirkier is making Labour electable again.

You would have thought that Labour's share in the vote would have improved considering they now have a true socialist leader
