Johnson wont sack Hancock, he never sacks anyone, but Hancock might resign, if pressure is put on him for the next 3 or 4 days by the media and the opposition.

The Labour party hasn't shown much opposition to be honest, over recent months, but Party chair Annalise Dodds was vocal on Newsnight, so maybe there will be pressure, and of course the media must put pressure on Hancock too.

We really are being governed by sleaze merchants at the moment .

Typical. You should have respect for his family instead of joining the lynch mob. You demand respect for your family yet dish it out like confetti.

It seems a little backwards they make him resign for being more interesting and not for being incompetent.

Boris now hinting that he played a role in Hancock going. Despite him reportedly saying case closed 24 hours previous.

Getting more Trumpian by the day.

And where's Keir Starmer on this? I might've missed it but he's seems awfully quiet for the LOTO in this position.

Happy to oblige, the front bench are also pushing for the severance pay to be scrapped

Do you think it matters all this? What should matter is that there is no competent opposition. Labour are in tatters, the Lib Dem’s hopeless and Boris has an 80 seat majority. All this tittle tattle is boring.
