Worked with my uncle as a teacher ,
My cousin used to sit & listen to some stories in
his local untill 3 or 4 years ago.

R.I.P Mr Hume .

Not only was Hume instrumental in getting Sinn Fein to sit down and negotiate, but he knew what he did almost certainly cost his SDLP party votes and seats. Not enough principled politicians around like that, across the board.

Been suffering with dementia for a fair few years now, the poor sod.

I recall one story when he was a bit younger, and he walked into a bar.

Victor asked the bartender for "gin and.......... tonic". "Of course," said the bartender, "but what's up with the pause?"

Victor just held up his paws and said "I dont know, I was just born with them!"
