Literally cannot get a test for my daughter. No home testing kits available. No walkthrough appointments available. No drive through appointments available unless I wanted to drive three hours in each direction - and they’d gone in the two minutes it had taken for me to decide that I would. There is a mobile testing site four minutes from my house tomorrow. Absolute shambles.

Feels like public opinion is shifting and many will not stand for lockdown two.

Let's face it, the virus cannot be defeated, it is with us now. Are we meant to live like this indefinitely until there is a vaccine?

There won't be a lockdown 2 though so that seems a bit of a straw man.

Not nationwide, perhaps, but localised lockdowns are a possibility.

Why is literally nobody reporting % of positive tests anymore? It’s literally the only meaningful stat and I find it hard to find.

I’m confident we’ll get a vaccine but in case we don’t what are we supposed to do. ? I agree we can’t live like this indefinitely

What is the trend with the hospitalisation rates? And the same for those being admitted to ICU?

Both are low dunners. I posted the government link up the other day. I think from memory there is 84 in ICU on a ventilator and 800 odd in hospital. Seems its static from where it was a couple of weeks ago.

It's been pretty flat for a while, perhaps a small rise in hospital admissions over the past couple of weeks.

Will go up within a few weeks imo. The natural next step after the rise in infections, once the youngs have passed it onto the olds.
