He had policies that were popular. He knew how to win. He did win. Policies that people wanted, enough wanted. That people like Blair won and people like Milliband and Corbyn didn’t, in the case of the latter the worst defeat in 80 years, tells a story that some people just don’t get.

Politicians who know where the fight for power is and those who don’t. The numbers just don’t lie.
So you don't think that the fact that both Milliband and Corbyn were beasted in the press - and Bliar wasn't - might have some bearing on their relative successes and failures?
Sure politicians get good and bad from the press and indeed the BBC. But I like to give people some credit for listening to the politicians too when coming to a conclusion.

Compare Blair and Corbyn. Chalk and cheese. Out of their own mouths. One an accomplished politician who was wholly clear and believable. The other, a huge fence-sitter at times. Far from clear. Muddled. Compare their teams! Abbott, a disaster.

All too easy to blame the media. But until Labour stop looking for excuses and move on, they won’t.

Don't do it Spike.

Debate with Maffy is like playing chess with a pigeon. It'll knock the pieces over, sh*t all over the board and then strut about looking like it was victorious.

That’s good advice. I rarely post about politics on here any more. Debate just doesn’t exist, especially if you have a view that is different to some. I’ll retire gracefully. 👍

why 4 elections in 10 years ?

what the f*ck 8s all that about ?
sounds like sh*t government to me .

Well Technically 2 were Lost as 2 were won by nobody & the Tory Party were given
first opportunity to create 2 Coalition governments .

Tory/Lib dems 2010
Tory/Dup 2017 .

So 2 clear defeats & 2 elections won by nobody .

Just so you can be correct in any future dealings .

As it says 4 General Elections from 6th May 2010 when "Call me Dave" came to power doesn't matter if no overall winner the Queen ask the party leader who won the most seats if they can form a coalition government, strange how Labour wasn't asked help form a government or participate in government, the record book still shows Labour lost the last 4 Elections and with people like you supporting them they will lose the next 3 aswell. Long may it continue.

Of Course it matters if there is no overall winner .
No Winner means No Losers .

LibDems sold there souls & ANY Chance of governing alone when they reneged
on there No Student Fees promise to get a little taste of power .

Had the Tories not got the deal within the alloted time
then the Next biggest party 8s given the opportunity
to fork the Government .
Had they held there nerve & told Dave & the Tories to f*ck off

Labour would have formed the.next government with them &
students would be free of fees.& the country wouldnt be in this f*cking mess now !

I think you'll find that if a coalition government is not formed by the Largest party which is normally the case, the option of the next largest party trying to form a government is a non starter, in which case another election is called

Nope the 2nd place party is offered the chance to form a government .

Lib dems were swayed by places in Cabinet to form a govt with the Tory party
The Labour party promised they would accept Lib Dems pledge for no student fees .

Only if both of the largest parties can not reach an agreement to form a government will
another Election be called .

Former orient nemesis Rickie Lambert goes on a rant about Starmer and gives the left a collective stonk on

You’ll also find a load of anti vaxx crap if you look back through his Instagram. The left sure know how to pick em

Had to google this, obviously remember him at Rochdale with holt but have no recollection of him playing for Liverpool and England. WTF?

Also, he’s right, obvs. Of course Starmer is wrong, but of course Starmer was always going going to do it to make sure someone from the left is never elected leader again, despite all the poo poo spouted about unity.

Thats the trouble with politics today
Half wits like you thinking they know how it really works
I think you'll find that if a coalition government is not formed by the Largest party which is normally the case, the option of the next largest party trying to form a government is a non starter, in which case another election is called
Now, Now Tuffers we're supposed to be at peace with each other
Nope the 2nd place party is offered the chance to form a government .

Lib dems were swayed by places in Cabinet to form a govt with the Tory party
The Labour party promised they would accept Lib Dems pledge for no student fees .

Only if both of the largest parties can not reach an agreement to form a government will
another Election be called .

I am at peace ,with everyone , other than those that try to tell me there
knowledge of politics is greater than mine , when clearly it is not
If you are that good at politics then how come you don't know that Labour lost the last 4 general elections. your twisting of the truth is typical socialism
