One of the episodes towards the end features one of the most gross things I've seen on television.
The Outlaws- Stephen Merchant comedy, iPlayer.

Re: What are you Watching Today Part 2
I watched the recent production of Witness for the Prosecution at the weekend. The play is staged within one of the court rooms/debating chambers in the old City Hall, and you can sit in amongst the trial and actors. It was decent.

I watched a docu series Villages by the Sea, on BBC2 earlier it featured a fishing village in North Yorkshire called Staithes. It looked delightful & the place had an interesting history. Never even heard of it, but now want to visit that part of the world.

Re: What are you Watching Today Part 2
Been there a few times. It is one of those small places where you need to park at the top of the hill and walk down a v. steep hill. Almost cut-off in Winter. Certainly picturesque. Locals a bit wary of outsiders. Got thrown out of the pub because it was not opening time. The door was wide open ffs.O my gawd wrote: ↑Tue Nov 16, 2021 1:38 am I watched a docu series Villages by the Sea, on BBC2 earlier it featured a fishing village in North Yorkshire called Staithes. You would also visit Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay.
There is a connection with Captain Cook in Staithes. It is pronounced "Stays", I believe.
Lesson over and you're welcome.

Re: What are you Watching Today Part 2
The new series of Alaskan Bush People has to be the weirdest yet.
Obviously stung by my recent criticism about not actually being based in Alaska at all but near the town of Loomis in Washington State, three gap toothed members of the clan have gone on a pilgrimage to Alaska to meet their seriously weirder mates and smear mud on their faces and bathe in freezing cold creeks. Top telly.

Re: What are you Watching Today Part 2
Watched the 2-part mini-Series about The Great Train Robbery which I quite enjoyed.
Also watched Harper's Island - not a documentary about Plumstead, but a long drawn-out slasher pic done as a 13-part series. Ludicrous but strangely engaging.

Shetland: such picturesque scenery. Enjoyed it, largely. They must have grand mobile phone reception there, but I do not see evidence of phone masts. Perez is on his phone countless time in each episode...
