Correct. In this instance, he has missed an open goal.
Hearing today the experiences of two friends I’m sure that if it was closer to home he would soon change his tuneThor wrote: ↑Sun Jan 03, 2021 8:32 pm Piers Corbyn arrested again, standing up for what he believes in.

How does it feel not to be priority anymore in terms of Labour policies?Admin wrote: ↑Sun Jan 10, 2021 8:29 pm SKS abandoning another pledge... not sure how this is meant to tempt Scotlandshire voters back. But perhaps it is all now about the red wall voters in the north.

Horrifying in an ivory tower metropolitan elite type of way. In all honesty, I’m not sure I’d really bother given the constituency I live in which is massive Tory country. Had it been a marginal I suppose I’d have voted Labour as it’s the only realistic challenege to the Tories.Digby Chicken Caesar wrote: ↑Sun Jan 10, 2021 9:42 pmSorry to hear thatAdmin wrote: ↑Sun Jan 10, 2021 9:39 pmHorrifying in an ivory tower metropolitan elite type of way. How would you vote if the election was tomorrow? Gonna hazard a guess at SirK
I don’t know his full details but I’m going to wager Admin hasn’t been priority in terms of Labour policies for a good 5 years.Digby Chicken Caesar wrote: ↑Sun Jan 10, 2021 9:10 pmHow does it feel not to be priority anymore in terms of Labour policies?Admin wrote: ↑Sun Jan 10, 2021 8:29 pm SKS abandoning another pledge... not sure how this is meant to tempt Scotlandshire voters back. Disappointing isn't it, Lab/Lib need a pact and I think this is far more likely with SKSAdmin wrote: ↑Sun Jan 10, 2021 9:53 pmIn all honesty, I’m not sure I’d really bother given the constituency I live in which is massive Tory country. However I don’t see Labour in any guise, be it Tory lite or full of socialist policies, getting anywhere near a majority.
Yes but life’s full of them. Until there’s some form of electoral reform (spoiler - there won’t be), there’s not a great deal of hope, even with a lib / lab pact. Realistically, anyone opposing the tories needs wee Nicolas party with them - and as we know, that won’t play in Ingerlund.Digby Chicken Caesar wrote: ↑Sun Jan 10, 2021 10:21 pmDisappointing isn't it, Lab/Lib need a pact and I think this is far more likely with SKSAdmin wrote: ↑Sun Jan 10, 2021 9:53 pmIn all honesty, I’m not sure I’d really bother given the constituency I live in which is massive Tory country. Just moved back to a similarly boring constituency as yourself. In 2019 I was Wimbledon where I lived for years and we came within 630 votes of beating the Tories in a solid Tory seat... Sadly Labour ran also with 12,500 votes

I’m saying nothing else on the subject.
