I know there are a large vocal minority of people that hate change of any sort. But seriously. How does this impact you in any way? Why do you give the tiniest of shits about the name on a pack of sweets?

Err exactly. So why change it? It was one person who complained. Actually half a person.

Why change it?

1) Some people find it offensive. As it doesn’t do anyone else any harm, why wouldn’t you change it to stop offending people, even if it’s only a small number of people.

This is what I'm confused about too. Is the ultimate obejective to eliminate the use of man/woman and male/female? It seems that way

I see Jimmy Carr is trending. People getting outraged that he did a provocative and offensive joke. I watched his new Netflix show when it came out, but am not a big fan of his anyway so didn't think much of it. He did give a very clear warning at the start that there would stuff that people would find offensive, but anyone who's used to his old shock-jock shtick will know what to expect.

I was going to shrug off the cries from the usual mob for him to be cancelled, but now the likes of Zara Sultana are wading in things may get serious.

Believe he had said ages ago that he's "probably already told the joke that'll see him cancelled/end his career".

Personally, I don't like his face.
