Actress Jill Gascoine after a long battle with Alzheimers at age 83.

I used to fancy her when she played a police lady in The Gentle Touch in the 80's, lovely dark eyes and such big hair.

Ah, that's a shame. I just about remember her in C.A.T.S. Eyes, alongside Leslie Ash.

Former Leeds player Trevor Cherry has passed away at the age of 72.

He's a national legend, a charity fundraiser who has raised our spirits and some are even calling for him to receive a knighthood.

José María Galante Serrano - "Chato" (1948 – 28 March 2020) was a Spanish political prisoner and human rights activist. He was born in Madrid.

In 1969, he was arrested by the Franco regime-dictated Political-Social Brigade and was tortured at Puerta del Sol. Wasn't Johnson's latest offspring due to be born early summer? Summer begins on 21st June so was the birth 8 weeks (or so) early?

Seems that Johnson was extremely lucky with that because the baby's arrival on 29th April meant that he was excused from PMQs (the first time of having to face Starmer) on a day when the news were full of details just how the government was failing, deaths in care homes finally noticed, no protective gear, etc, etc Even his usual bluster would not have been capable of papering over the mess. So instead of getting shown up as a failure, he got congratulations and good wishes for the baby.

At least this baby made it in to the world. Unlike the one he didn't have with Petronella Wyatt.
