Big fan of "On the Bank" on BT Sport. They fish in so many different places it saves me getting up off my lazy hole and doing some myself.

Don't get the fascination with Carp. It's not a real fish.

Have now started The Handmaid's Tale - (I know, late again). It's great.
Series 1, which follows the book, is great. The series' after, which don't, are a bag of shiite. Although I'm still watching the latest because I've f*** all else to do and am now too invested in it.

Finally got round to watching Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

Sure, it's a tad self-indulgent at times, but I loved it. Classic Tarantino. Visually stunning and a fitting homage to the period. Well written characters that are expertly portrayed by actors at the top of their game. I don't get the criticism that he under-used Margot Robbie either. She manages to convey more expression into her smile than most actors do with an entire script.

DiCaprio turns in an excellent performance, with one scene in particular where he's struggling with his demons (and lines) on a film set. But Brad Pitt is the real star of the show, even when his character utterly (and hilariously) disrespects the legacy of Bruce Lee (no sacred cows).

The films sort of lulls you into a sense of false security so that the extreme and brutal violence in the final act comes as a shock. But then you're reminded that nobody does gruesome bloody violence quite like Tarantino. A very satisfying ending sees a fictitious re-writing of Hollywood history that could only have been brought to life by a true fan such as Tarantino himself.

New series of Homestead Rescue with 2 hour episodes and Marty smashing it out the park is required viewing.

I must admit I laughed at him in the last series when he fell off the back of a trailer and injured himself, pure slapstick. The new series is relying heavily on puns and none of them are unpredicable nor unfunny. No slapstick so far, we can but hope for another accident, an electrocution would be good.

Very interesting as me (massive Tarantino fan) personally found it very disrespectful to Sharon Tate and the others and more specifically their surviving family. Maybe I’m just too soft? :D

I've been watching Patriot on Amazon Prime, and Ghosts on BBC. Both are fantastic and quirky in their own way.

A return to slapstick in last nights episode but unfortunately not an electrocution. Marty fell into a ditch that he had previously dug.

Good news is he tested negative for the Covids. Big fella had us all worried for a bit. I thought that might be an end to his slapstick routines.

The White Lotus- fabulous viewing.

Vigil- two episodes in, i like it even though it is a bit unbelievable.

9/11 the president's war room- a solid account from the president's perspective.

Vigil is too full of factual inaccuracies about submarines. But I'm watching it anyway.

The Beeb did 2 excellent 9/11 documentaries last week.
