As much as such gossip can be fun, I'm inclined to not believe it. Not because I believe he wouldn't do such a thing, but because I cannot fathom how he'd have the time or energy.

Interesting article by Stephen Bush on how the Conservative achieve firsts on diversity and why they're more likely to reach the next benchmark

Why the first black British prime minister is likely to be a Conservative

The great secret to the Conservatives’ increasingly diverse parliamentary party is their even greater institutional health.

That is a good article and there are some lessons for the opposition in it, but that I don't think they'll take them. I would say though this is probably the most important part;

'The reason the Conservative Party has been more successful at hitting these historical firsts is because it is more successful in general. From the party’s exit from the Liberal-Conservative coalition in 1922 until the rise of Tony Blair, every Conservative Party leader also became prime minister. One reason to believe that the first black British prime minister will be a Conservative is because the British prime minister is almost always a Conservative.'

But they have some great achievements in this field that shouldn't be ignored.

Boris has been having another affair with a violinist. There's a super-injunction out to stop the story being reported.
Can I refer my honourable colleague to my post on 23/8 in this very thread :D
I have to say how sorry I feel for BoJo, after having to cut his Scottish cliff-edge tent & cottaging holiday short.

If only I had a, er, violin to play a sad tune for him. Wonder if he knows anyone that has one just in case he fancies a quick fiddle?
Alright, maybe I was being a bit cryptic. Superinjunction and all that.

Fair play, you definitely got the scoop on that.

I've now heard it from people I know inside MHCLG and DforE. Looks like it's starting to leak out regardless.

By the way, meet Olga. If this is all true, you may be hearing a lot more about her soon.

She's attractive, young, and presumably successful in her chosen career.

BoJo was very poundshop Churchill last night, wasn’t he. If only he could have slipped in a “we’ll fight them viruses (and the refugees in their dinghies) on the beaches” soundbite and a bit of Latin he would have got a full house on the bullshit bingo.

So, let’s see if I’ve got the new rules right. You can still meet up and do what the hell you like as a six indoors anywhere, anytime, but you can’t get a pint in a pub after 10 in England. The various Celts have decided that’s a stupid contradiction, but hey - whatever. Lucky the Tories aren’t making up any old poo poo as they go along.

That's the thing. When Boris was at City Hall (and earlier in his career), while he was known as a bit of a pest, he had a remarkably high hit rate. And with plenty of women who, quite frankly, could do better. He has a list that would put the likes of Sponge and A-Stud to shame.

Almost as if the women he displeasured were hoping for some kind of favour in return. "Tit for tat" as they say.

Maybe Boris didnt go to Italy but..

"Carrie Symonds has enjoyed a five-star holiday in the exclusive Italian resort of Lake Como with her baby Wilfred. In the week Boris Johnson told Britons the UK was in for another six months of misery, his fiancée his fiancée has been staying at the £600-a-night Grand Hotel Tremezzo in northern Italy with three girlfriends"
