Do they not realise that they have just signaled to the world that 'binding contracts' with the British government aren't worth the paper they are written on?

Next week will show whether there are any Tory MPs who understand their duty to the country and are willing to place this above their personal benefit from a cushy, well paid job.
So basically we're reliant on Tory MP's having a moral code? We're totally fecked.

The former Attorney General Geoffrey Cox states in clearest terms that Johnson's plan is "unconsciable".

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/20 ... rexit-deal

He is a hard Brexiteer and was the AG when Johnson prorogued parliament, a course of action he defended. When even he condemns the current Cummings/ Johnson strategy, that suggests that Johnson has gone a step too far and momentum against him among the Tories is building.

And this is Johnson's new Attorney General:

From the days when I used to watch PMQs and her face appeared, I was always 'taken aback' by her adoring glances towards Johnson.

So she's basically a lying careerist scumbag. A perfect fit for the role!

I can't believe that he is serious. I'd suggest its a strong arm tactic to get what he wants. If he does take that route then all he'll will break loose in the party.

The lack of testing is one thing. But even if we did have sufficient testing capacity, it will be pointless without an effective method of tracking, tracing and isolating.

By the way, anyone else watch the Commons debate of the Brexit withdrawal bill yesterday? You know you've had a bad day at the office if Ed Milliband has torn you a new one.

This government just intensifies their lies.
Now they are full on attacking and blaming the EU when it actually was the EU who turned cartwheels to find a way whereby the Brits could have their Brexit but in a way that would respect the political, historical, legal and economic reality of the UK and the Good Friday agreement.

Let's face it: in 2016 most of those who voted for Leave did not actually give a thought as to the position of NI and neither did the politicians and media who promoted Leave.

So now the Tory 'rebels' have been appeased and dropped their rebellion because they have been told that they will be allowed a vote to break the legally binding withdrawal agreement. So instead of just the government being responsible for breach of a binding international agreement, they regard it as an achievement to all be allowed to vote for such breach. Madness!
We know that in reality Tory MPs always vote as they are instructed by their leader!

He is and was useless and now gets richly rewarded for just 7 hours work. All MPS should not be allowed to take up roles outside of their main role of being an mp, this farce has to stop.
