Perhaps he just wants to know if anyone knows what is it - in which case: yes.

Where do you sit?

I hope fans nearby tell the racist pricks to shut up.

This. Some goon from Port Vale the other week came on the O’s FB page and admitted they had some racist dickheads, at which point I called him out and said that we at Brissy don’t stand for it, apart from some of the mouth-breathers at the east end of the South Stand. If you don’t call them out then you’re complicit. And if, at this point, you’re still unsure, then I suggest you read what our ex-captain and all-round legend Jobi McAnuff had to say on the matter.

Courage of conviction. If you think it’s a great gesture and a great cause then join in rather than watch and applaud others.

How was it today?
The players did the right thing today and last week. By not taking the knee last week they brought the debate about the need for it out into the open and also drew the racists (and/or apologists for) on the board out into the open. By taking the knee today they showed that a 10 second gesture continues to be an important stance.
10 seconds. I thought it was 3 seconds. Did they up the intensity today?
The effort probably exhausted them for the game. 😂

Sounds like it is just the 3 or 4 dickheads who boo at our games at this point, but still a properly odd thing to do in earshot of our own keeper who just got racially abused.

No knee last night either, although there was some gesture with the two squads intermingling and wearing the "No Room For Hate" t-shirts before kick-off. If there was any explanation, or announcement about it, I must have missed it.

The squad and the club seem to be trying to steer some sort of middle course here - not abandoning the gesture entirely, but doing it in such a way that they hope not too many people notice. Which seems to defeat the object. If they're not prepared to face down the morons who boo them, it does lose a lot of its power.

It's not odd but bizarre.

It's almost like they are there to further some sort of other political agenda and don't give a toss about the club and its players.

Are there any booers on this MB?

I was happy to see the Newcastle players take the knee against Tottenham and I'm sure their new Saudi Arabian owners will be very keen to understand its implications

You're missing the point, the booing is because sporting venues are being highjacked for political gesturing, If I want politics I'll go to a political meeting and/or join a political party again. The sooner it is abandoned the better, it has achieved sweet FA

the only political message in taking the knee
is to Stop abusing Black people/Footballers
because there skin is a different colour.

No other political message exists from
taking the knee in the uk
.

I used to boo before it was either racist or a protest against revolutionary Marxism. Back in those days it was simply a scientifically proven method of boosting the team's performance.

I stopped booing when Emblefud discarded our talented kids, didn’t seem much point when we only had seasoned pros who can take it.

Honestly, I'm a bit embarrassed that the Club I support is running scared of a few morons amongst our support that represent a small minority of the fanbase.

Fairly certain it's Taxio / .918 etc etc. When I can be arsed I'll take a closer look - sure I've perma'd him more than once for racism. At which point he'll bugger off back to the dark side and bitch about how PC it all is over here.

Wasnt it a fan from another club sending abuse via social media that triggered this change in stance?
