Fair play to Somerset. They are having a go. I take a previous posts point regarding the deficit now. If Somerset don’t set a decent target then Essex could well knock off the runs before losing 10 wickets.

Getting a bit tense despite the pitch only got ourselves to blame. Shotless for the last hour, can't block it out on here going to get one with your name on sooner rather than later.

Somerset will have to bat again and need to set a decent target and enough time to take another 10 wickets. Hard to do if the finish is scheduled for 5.30pm.

Somerset won’t bat again as they lose 20 minutes of play if they do that. They are putting Essex in again.

63 to win must try and be positive, I would send in Ten Doeschate 30 mins of pinch hitting might do the trick. Mindset was all wrong after tea far too defensive.

Being exciting since tea. Not quite squeaky bum time, but Somerset have enough overs to get 10 wickets.
