I said you try. I have not stated you hit.
Take the compliment for trying & nothing more Lad
You said I don't seem to hit with a lot of it.
Using logic, you must believe I hit with some of it. Thank you, I'll take that.
A broken clock etc etc etc
Most of us top comedians use this scattergun approach to find out what works.

Someone should do a "What was Conkles's best alias?" poll.
Nutty Nat is the correct answer.

Saw the Tories election broadcast tonight, actually pretty good. Amusement at the Threat Level pen pics and then a genuine LOL when the picture of David Lammy flashed up as subliminal messaging.

Top Comedians don't laugh at their own Jokes, others do that for them. When laughter is deserved then I'll show its appreciated, but I've not seen any yet from you.
Keep going though I'm sure it'll come

Obviously, the only acceptable response is...

Dobby is right and she knows her stuff as she works in IT. A ban just isnt feasible though sadly.

And how would a ban work? Would parents be fined if they give their kids one, or would the child end up with a criminal record if found in possession of a Pixel 7a?
Absolutely easier said than done and not looking forward to the time when my kid starts asking for one (although probably AI chips in the brain or something will be all the rage by then) but parents do have agency here. It's an incredibly tough call refusing to let them have a smartphone and they might be a pariah but if even a few in each class did the same, it suddenly becomes less of an issue and more are likely to follow suit. A ban isn't really the only answer.

Also, I learned today it was Big Suze, rather than Big Sooz, so who says the election campaign won't be useful?

I mentioned this elsewhere, but I think it needs to be approached from a public health perspective. Shift societal norms so that giving young children a smartphone is seen as akin to giving them cigarettes. And then shame parents who continue to permit their children to own and use one.

Sounds a sensible approach so obviously will never happen.

Obviously not, as it would harm profits and stifle economic growth.
But there's just no other way.

So long as controls are in place and their usage is both monitored and limited, I don't see the issue. (Although admittedly it is a pain in the arse having to do all of that).
